Inspiring the Next Generation of Innovators: A Visit from Catholic High School

At Rezeca, we believe that education and engagement are key pillars in building a more sustainable future. That’s why we were thrilled to welcome a group of bright and enthusiastic Year 4 IB students from Catholic High School as part of their End-of-Year Entrepreneur Capstone Project.

The visit gave us a valuable opportunity to share insights into Singapore’s growing renewable energy landscape. We kicked things off with a briefing on the current state of sustainability in Singapore, and how national goals are driving innovation and adoption of clean technologies. The students were curious and eager to understand how businesses like ours are contributing to the country’s green energy goals.

We then dived into a session on solar energy, covering everything from how solar panels work to the environmental and economic benefits they offer. Our engineers explained the science behind photovoltaic cells, the process of converting sunlight into electricity, and how solar installations can significantly reduce reliance on the traditional power grid. It was rewarding to see the students so engaged, asking thoughtful questions about installation processes, efficiency, and system design.

To broaden their understanding of clean technology, we also introduced them to some electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions. The students got a hands-on look at how EV chargers function, their integration with smart grid systems, and their importance in supporting the transition to cleaner transportation. It was an eye-opening moment for many, as they connected the dots between renewable energy generation and sustainable mobility.

Beyond the technical knowledge, we also shared insights into the entrepreneurial side of the clean energy industry—discussing what it takes to run a sustainable business, the challenges we face, and the opportunities for innovation in this evolving space. These future changemakers were encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and imagine how they might contribute to sustainability in their own ways.

Hosting this visit was a truly inspiring experience for our team. It’s always refreshing to see young minds so passionate about the environment and driven to make a positive impact. We’re proud to support educational initiatives like these and hope the session sparked new ideas and inspiration for the students’ capstone projects—and beyond.

If you’re curious about how solar energy works, or you’re considering adopting solar for your home, business, or organization, we’d love to chat. Reach out to us to learn more about how clean energy can power your future.
